Our representative will be waiting for you at Delhi International Airport when you arrive there. After pick up, you will transfer to your already booked hotel for staying in Delhi for the night.
Get picked up at your hotel in the morning and taken to the Hazrat Nizamuddin train station in Delhi. From there, you can catch the 7:40 a.m. train to Sawai Madhopur, which is the closest train stop to Ranthambore National Park. Upon request, our company representative will be at the designated spot to pick you up and will remain with you until the train departs from this station.
Upon your arrival at Sawai Madhopur Railway Station (13:00 HRS), a representative from our company will be waiting to greet you. You will be able to quickly locate him because he will be holding a placard bearing your name. After the meet-and-greet, get into the private car for a ride to the Wildlife Resort you had already booked.
After you’ve checked in and had lunch, go on a jeep tour through Ranthambore National Park in the afternoon. You will have three hours to explore the plants and animals of Ranthambore Forest on this jeep tour.
You will go on safari in a six-seater shared open jeep with a nature guide and a driver who knows the national park well enough to give you the best wildlife safari experience. When you book this tour, you can also choose to go in a private car for an extra fee.
Every other night, the resort’s management puts together an evening of Rajasthani folk music and dance for you to enjoy. Dinner, and then a night’s stay at the wildlife lodge.
Pali Ghat is a popular place to camp and have a boat on the River Chambal. It is 40 km away from Ranthambore. Because of this, you can see snakes here, which is not possible at Ranthambore Park. Water ducks, Sarus, Demoiselle Greylag Geese, and Cranes can be seen here, making it a great location for bird watching. Lunch at the lodge after you get back. After lunch, go bird watching near Misradhara Gate and Ranthambhore Fort.
You can see more than 40 kinds of birds from Misradhara Gate to the fort. You can watch Peacocks, Parakeets, Doves, and Flycatchers here. This is also the best place to see the Painted Spurfowl, which is what bird watchers come here to see. When you get back to the lodge late at night, the management plans Rajasthani folk music and dance events every other evening. Dinner, and then a night’s stay at the wildlife lodge.
You can make tea or coffee in your room in the morning and then get ready to get on a morning jeep tour vehicle. You have three hours left to see the wildlife in Ranthambore National Park. After the morning safari, you’ll go back to the lodge for breakfast and to pack your bags and go through the check-out process. You will be picked up at 11:45 a.m. and will be transferred to the Sawai Madhopur train station. A person from our company will be there to help you get on the train and stay with you until it leaves this station at 12:30 p.m.
The lake of Soorwal is about 10 km from Sawai Madhopur. This lake is only there during certain times of the year and is mostly dry in April and May. It is between large fields of crops. A lot of different kinds of birds that come here to spend the winter cold. Between November and March, you can see a lot of birds, like painted storks, flamingos, spoonbills, sarus cranes, greylag geese, and more.
Mansarovar is the biggest lake in the area, and it’s only 15 km from Sawai Madhopur. The areas of water on the park’s edge are great for bird watching because they are home to thousands of migrating birds in the winter. There are lots of pintail ducks, geese, pelicans, and herons to see.
Sawai Madhopur is about 40 km away from Amli-Deh. A lot of different birds and animals live here. The best place to see Indian skimmers and River lapwings, it is a very quiet and good place for bird watching. You can see village life and Rajasthani customs on the way to Amli-deh.
